Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to manage blockchain nodes. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable and resilient infrastructure to support our product offering across various blockchain networks.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture, deployment, and maintenance of diverse blockchain nodes (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana) using IaC principles.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure for all blockchain‑related services with Terraform and Ansible.
Develop comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack to ensure node health, performance, and uptime.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement fixes to optimize performance and latency of node operations.
Apply best practices for network and node security, including management of RPC endpoints, validator keys, and key pairs.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment, testing, and monitoring of node software upgrades.
Collaborate with trading and research teams to support new chain integrations and optimize existing ones.
Design and implement failover and backup strategies for business continuity of mission‑critical blockchain infrastructure.

Background and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
Demonstrable experience managing blockchain nodes and deep understanding of the ecosystem.
Strong experience in a trading, crypto, or TradFi environment is highly desirable but not essential.

Competencies and Personality

Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient Linux administration skills.
Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
Deep familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, Firewalls).
Experience with GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with various blockchain architectures (PoS, PoW, etc.) and node types (full nodes, validators, RPC nodes).
Strong understanding of security practices within the blockchain ecosystem.
