Instrumentation and Control Engineer

I am working with an Engineering company that specialise in Heat and Power projects who are actively hiring for a Freelance I&C Engineer. They are seeking an individual that has extensive experience within the Utilities sector. Therefore, to be considered you must have 5-10 year's of experience specifically working on Power Plant projects. You will be joining the project to support the customer with the oversight of all the controls and instrumentation involved but not doing any of the programming work yourself.

• Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
• Working Pattern: Hybrid.

Part of the role will be supporting with all of the key site meetings around verifying documentation, working on specification for the control's technology, developing solutions for automation processes and overseeing work that has been done using Siemens T3000 / Omnivise T3000 DCS.

• Must be a strong communicator in both German and English, both written and verbally. High B2/C1 proficiency would be required.
• A minimum of 6 year's experience within Instrumentation and Controls Engineering positions.
• At least 5 year's experience working on projects within public utilities such as Power Plant missions.
• Strong working knowledge of Siemens T3000 / Omnivise T3000 DCS.
• Be confident to review and advise on technical documentation in relation to controls systems.
• Happy to travel to site which will be based in Germany, depending on the project phase not all of the work can be done remotely.
