As our Insurance Innovator at Genki, you will play a key role in developing and improving our insurance products and processes, building high-quality, customer-friendly health insurance solutions. This full-time role is ideal for someone proactive, independent, and passionate about transforming the insurance industry.

What you’ll do

As our Insurance Innovator, you'll lead the development and evolution of Genki’s health insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while creating innovative, user-centered solutions for a global customer base. You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with him.

• Develop and improve our health insurance products continuously.
• Lead the design and launch of new products from concept to market.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain Genki’s competitive edge.
• Enhance internal insurance-related processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases for all insurance products and procedures.
• Manage relationships with insurance partners and service providers.
• Train team members on relevant insurance knowledge to ensure high-quality service.
• Identify opportunities for product or service improvements, including potential B2B expansion.
• Monitor claims, loss ratios, and implement fraud detection and prevention measures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable insurance regulations.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in developing or managing insurance products, preferably in health insurance.
• Customer-centric mindset — thinking in terms of customer journeys and MVPs, questioning the status quo rather than just compliance language.
• Proven expertise in insurance compliance and regulations.
• Solid understanding of German insurance regulation and qualification under §34d GewO (German Industrial Code).
• German residency as legally required to maintain our IHK registration.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Bonus: Experience in digital-first insurers, InsurTech, or startup environments.
