Your seat to fill

Conduct prior art searches, freedom-to-operate analyses, and competitor IP assessments
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams from Project Management, Design, Legal, and Product Management to ensure seamless IP integration into development processes
Work closely with inventors and R&D teams to identify possible risks at early stages of development
Analyze technical solutions to identify patentable ideas in product development
Assist in formulating and implementing IP strategies that align with business and innovation goals
Contribute to inventor workshops and training initiatives to foster a strong innovation culture
Maintain and help expand the company’s patent portfolio using internal IP tools and databases

Your stroll to CYBEX

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Several years of professional experience as patent engineer or in comparable position, including FTO analyses
High interest in intellectual property law, innovation processes, and technology strategy
Analytical and structured approach to complex technical and legal information
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments
Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with patent search tools (e.g., Espacenet, DEPATISnet, Questel Orbit) is an advantage
