Intern Category Management (m/f/d)

Overview

As an Intern in Category Management , you won’t just be watching from the sidelines, you’ll be at the heart of the Westwing shop experience. You will support our team in scouting the next "it-pieces", managing a premium portfolio, and ensuring our offering stays ahead of the curve to meet ambitious sales targets. This position is limited to 6 months and based in Munich .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support product selection from new and existing premium and contemporary brands
• Analyse category performance on a weekly and monthly basis
• Utilise AI-driven analytics tools to identify emerging trends and optimise assortment strategies
• Conduct competitor research in target segments
• Support assortment strategies within defined merchandise areas
• Collaborate closely with experienced Category Managers and learn how to build a best-in-class assortment in Home & Living categories

YOU COME WITH

• Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a comparable course of study
• Passion for Home & Living, as well as a strong sense for products, trends, and aesthetics
• Ability to learn quickly, a structured way of working, and readiness to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
• High level of motivation and a proactive can-do attitude, paired with a strong curiosity to explore the world of e-commerce
• Solid MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
