finperks is on a mission to financially empower people through smarter rewards, cashbacks, and white-label employee benefits. We enable companies to boost loyalty and engagement with innovative gift card solutions that make financial perks accessible and rewarding for everyone.

We're founded by Sebastian Seifert, Andreas Veller, and Achim Bönsch – all WHU alumni and proven serial entrepreneurs. After 13 successful years building viafintech (originally launched as Barzahlen) into Europe's largest bank-independent payment infrastructure, we achieved Germany's biggest FinTech exit to date, selling the company to Paysafe in a nine-figure transaction in 2021.

Now we're back in the game, focusing on what we do best: building exceptional FinTech companies. For that we're looking for driven individuals to join us on this journey from day one.

Aufgaben

As a Founder Associate Intern, you'll work directly alongside the founding team and be involved in every aspect of building finperks:

• Market & Business Model Analysis: Research market trends, analyze competitors, and help identify new business opportunities in the FinTech space
• Strategic Projects: Support key strategic initiatives, from product development to go-to-market strategies and partnership discussions
• Operational Excellence: Help streamline processes and implement tools and automations that scale our operations efficiently
• Customer & Partner Engagement: Participate in customer conversations (N26, Trade Republic, Adidas, Apple, and many more), partner meetings, and help shape our value proposition based on real market feedback
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across product, tech, and business development to drive initiatives forward with real impact

Qualifikation

• Drive & Ambition: You're motivated to go the extra mile and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments
• Analytical Mindset: You're proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex business models and market dynamics
• Tech-Savvy: You're comfortable with AI tools and can implement small automations independently
• Communication Skills: Excellent German and English communication skills (German fluency is essential as we work closely with German-speaking customers and partners)
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You're excited about building something from scratch and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration

Nice to have: Prior startup/FinTech or Consulting experience
