Our team at the BMW Group accelerates digitalization in vehicle development and fosters an innovative research environment. We create methods to study driving postures with cameras for better vehicle designs, enabling you to contribute to pioneering solutions.

What awaits you?

• You will support literature reviews on Human Pose Estimation, driving posture modeling and analysis.
• Furthermore, you help to implement methods from existing literature and contribute to developing new algorithms or modules.
• Moreover, you will assist in testing and validating the developed method in a real vehicle.
• In addition, you gain insight into research work and practical implementation in the automotive industry.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer vision, electrical engineering, AI or a related field.
• Hands-on programming experience (Python, C, etc.).
• Strong motivation for scientific work and practical implementation.
• Good analytical and conceptual skills.
• Experience with Wireshark, CATIA and RAMSIS is a plus.
• Good English skills, German is a plus.
