Intern Software Engineer

Your mission

• We offer a range of topics surrounding AI compilers. Current internship positions cover:
  1. Improve our automatic benchmarking infrastructure to keep up with a constant influx of new state-of-the-art AI models
  2. Work on tools to find accuracy issues in the compiler
  3. Develop techniques to profile compilation phases
• Collaborate closely with other engineers on our AI compiler toolchain
• Improve the reliability and performance of our compiler across all kinds of neural networks and diverse hardware

Your profile

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering or a related field at a leading European University
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in C++ and/or Python
• Proven understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, design patterns, and algorithms 
• Experience with Linux, Git and common software development tools
• Ambition and curiosity to solve complex problems, a strong mindset to take ownership of your tasks to drive our solutions forwards, and collaborative attitude to foster our culture

Nice to haves: 

• Experience working with MLIR or LLVM.
• Meaningful contributions to open-source compiler communities
• Knowledge of AI algorithms, experience with using AI accelerators or compiling to relevant hardware
• Knowledge of neural networks 
• Knowledge about hardware architectures for CPUs, GPUs, or NPUs/accelerators is a plus
