Role Overview

Position: Venture Capital Expert – Contract, Remote
Commitment: At least 10 hours per week, starting in October
Join a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. Shape the future of AI through venture capital expertise.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate board materials, market sizing, and TAM analyses for AI research projects.
• Design investment and analysis summaries and memos to guide strategic decisions.
• Source potential deals and opportunities for AI innovation.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI model performance through strategic insights.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in venture capital at top firms
• Experience in board materials creation
• Expertise in market sizing/TAM analysis
• Proficiency in investment/analysis summaries and memos
• Skills in sourcing for deals

Engagement Details

$100/hour compensation
Fully asynchronous work schedule
Minimum four-week engagement with potential for extension
Classified as an “at-will” contractor
Payment via Stripe Connect weekly
