Junior Associate - Investment Banking (2-5 Years' Experience)

About the Role

A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Junior Associate to join its growing Investment Banking team in Frankfurt. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, cross‑border transactions alongside experienced dealmakers. You'll contribute to M&A execution, financial analysis, strategic advisory work, and the development of tailored client solutions within a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of M&A, debt, and equity transactions
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including valuation and scenario analysis
• Conduct market, industry, and company research to support transaction work and business development
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and investment memoranda
• Assist in managing due diligence streams and coordinating internal/external stakeholders
• Contribute to idea generation and strategic analysis across various sectors

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, or a similarly analytical field
• Strong technical capabilities , including advanced financial modelling and valuation expertise
• Solid understanding of financial statements, M&A processes, and transaction mechanics
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
• Clear communication abilities and comfort working within a high‑pressure, collaborative environment
• Fluent in German and English
