Investment Fund Lawyer – Boutique Fiduciary, German-Speaking Client Base

My client is a regulated fiduciary firm , established in Luxembourg for several years and operating on high-value-added mandates in legal and tax structuring. The firm acts as an integrated platform , combining legal, tax and accounting expertise , and advises a predominantly international and German-speaking client base .

The Luxembourg office is composed of fewer than twenty professionals , working in a business-oriented, structured and demanding environment , while deliberately maintaining a boutique approach . The team benefits from close supervision by three Partners , respectively specialised in accounting, legal and tax matters, allowing for a transversal and pragmatic handling of files.

The client portfolio mainly includes local and international financial companies , banks, insurance companies , as well as Private Equity and Real Estate structures , through non-regulated AIFs , SOPARFIs and related vehicles. German and English are the main working languages used daily.

In order to strengthen its legal team, the firm is now looking to recruit an Investment Fund Lawyer eager to develop a comprehensive and business-oriented approach to fund advisory work within a stable and specialised structure.

Your Responsibilities | Fund – AIF – Transactions – Advisory - Lawyer

• Participate in the legal structuring of investment funds, mainly non-regulated AIFs.
• Assist in the set‑up and ongoing legal follow‑up of investment vehicles (SOPARFIs, PE/RE structures).
• Draft, review, and update legal documentation related to funds and associated entities.
• Support the Partners on legal advisory and structuring matters, in close coordination with tax and accounting teams.
• Contribute to the day‑to‑day legal management of structures, liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
• Perform legal analyses and ensure compliance of structures with the applicable Luxembourg legal framework.

Profile and Career Path | Fund – AIF – Transactions – Advisory - Lawyer

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Investment Fund Lawyer in Luxembourg, acquired within a law firm by preference.
• Languages: German and English are mandatory, used daily; French is considered an asset.
• Good understanding of alternative investment funds, in particular non-regulated AIFs.
• Strong interest in a business-oriented and transversal advisory approach.
• Detail‑oriented, motivated, and eager to learn, with the ability to evolve under close supervision.
• Comfortable working in a boutique environment, where versatility and involvement are key.
