IT Administrator - Fully Remote (Germany only)

SOFTGAMES is looking for a skilled and reliable IT Administrator who is passionate about supporting a modern, remote-first organization. As part of our Operations & Infrastructure team, you will help ensure a smooth, secure, and efficient technical environment for our globally distributed workforce.

We rely on cloud-based systems rather than on-premise servers, so your focus will be on managing our SaaS ecosystem, securing devices via MDM, supporting employees remotely, and improving internal processes through automation and AI-driven solutions.

As part of the team, you will enjoy a collaborative and structured environment with a strong focus on operational excellence, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.

Applicants must already have a valid work permit for Germany. We do not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.

Your role:

• Provide remote IT support for employees across Europe and worldwide, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing assistance.
• Manage our Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, enforce security configurations, and maintain device compliance.
• Oversee procurement, setup, distribution, and lifecycle management of company laptops and accessories.
• Administer and maintain our cloud services and SaaS tools, including identity management, access control, and license management.
• Implement and maintain security configurations across devices, accounts, and cloud platforms.
• Develop internal automations using online services, scripting, and AI tools to streamline common workflows and reduce manual overhead.
• Maintain clear documentation related to IT processes, security guidelines, and system configurations.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure a robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure that supports a fully remote organization.

Your profile:

• You are an organized and reliable IT professional with experience supporting distributed teams.

• You have practical experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Miradore, Jamf, Intune or similar) and enforcing security policies remotely.

• You are familiar with cloud-only infrastructures and SaaS ecosystems—SSO, identity management, access management, permissions, role structures.

• You have strong knowledge of macOS and Windows administration , including configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.

• You have experience with device lifecycle management , procurement processes, and asset tracking.

• You are comfortable working with security best practices and supporting company-wide compliance.

• You enjoy optimizing workflows and have experience with automation , whether via scripting, integration tools (e.g., Zapier, Make), or AI-powered solutions.

• You document well, communicate clearly, and enjoy improving internal processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Workspace business administration.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience with IT asset management systems.
• Experience building internal bots or AI-assisted workflows.
