IT Application Consultant ERP & Accounting (m/f/d)

With around two million members, the Evangelical Church of Westphalia (EKvW) is the fourth largest regional church within the EKD. We are looking for a candidate to join the Regional Church Office in Bielefeld as soon as possible.

IT Application Consultant ERP & Accounting (m/f/d)

This is a permanent, full-time position; part-time work is possible from 30 hours per week. The Regional Church Office, with around 330 employees, is the central administrative authority of the EKvW. The Accounting Consulting team provides support in the area of New Church Financial Management (NKF) in particular.

Your tasks:

• Technical support for the ERP system's specialist applications and ensuring functionality
• Advising the regional church and district church offices on application issues (online and on site)
• Support with technical and application-related issues
• Collaboration on sub-projects
• Creation of documentation and application manuals for NKF

Your profile:

• Completed training or studies in the field of business informatics, business administration, accounting, or comparable qualification (e.g., accountant, business economist IHK, higher church or public administration service)
• Good knowledge and ideally professional experience in commercial accounting, preferably in public or church administration, or the willingness to learn quickly
• Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as a strong focus on consulting and service
• Structured, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
• Excellent communication skills and experience in project or process management
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the EKvW
• Identification with the goals and values of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia
