Onsite | 8 hours/day | 4–5 Day Project

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive EUC IT Desktop Support Technician to provide end-user and field IT infrastructure support. The selected candidate will assist users with laptop configuration and troubleshooting during deployment, ensuring a smooth transition. This is a short-term onsite engagement (approximately 10 days , starting the 24th of November ) during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Support installation and configuration of desktop applications.
  • Perform smart-hand activities and network-related troubleshooting (LAN/WAN).
  • Assist with laptop imaging and setup during the initial deployment phase.
  • Maintain and replace networking/peripheral devices (monitors, routers, switches, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP-related issues.
  • Ensure timely closure of IT support tickets using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Conduct preventive analysis to reduce recurring incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with end users.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and end-user support.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS administration and basic knowledge of MAC/Linux OS .
  • Experience in desktop/laptop/printer troubleshooting and break/fix support .
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN , TCP/IP , DNS , DHCP , VPN , and RDP .
  • Capable of handling and installing hardware (up to 50 lbs).
  • Familiarity with network cabling , firewalls , switches , and racks .
  • Working knowledge of ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
  • Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+ , CCNA , or OEM vendor certifications (Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba).

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, driven , and results-focused .
  • Flexible to adapt to project needs and schedules.
