Project Environment This role supports a centralized supply chain management and logistics services environment responsible for delivering logistics services for IT components across multiple business units. The operational scope includes standardized service scenarios such as rollouts, relocations, and rollbacks.

Role Overview The IT Expert – Operations Management / Logistics Coordination is responsible for handling logistics-related operational requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers, assigning and steering order execution, supporting forecasting and stock validation, and ensuring the structured transition of new projects into regular operations. The role combines logistics process coordination, commercial understanding, and operational communication in a service-oriented IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process requests received through assigned functional mailboxes.
• Coordinate and manage logistics requirements with the client and logistics service providers.
• Independently assign tasks to order managers and logistics partners, taking workload distribution into account.
• Support forecast planning and monitoring activities.
• Review order-related material stock levels and availability.
• Validate, integrate, and transfer new projects into the department’s regular operational service.

Required Qualifications

• German language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency at B1 level according to CEFR.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a logistics environment combined with business-related responsibilities.
• Knowledge of a warehouse management or goods management system , such as SAP MM or SAP SD .
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office , especially Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook .

Professional Experience Requirements

• At least 3 years in a logistics environment and in business-related operational tasks, including demand planning, procurement-related activities, and order creation in the system.
• At least 3 years in order processing and operational control of logistics processes and workflows, including the creation, handling, and coordination of orders.
• At least 3 years in problem management related to logistics processes, including communication with customers and logistics partners, complaint handling, and plausibility checks.
