IT Integration Leader (f / m / d)

About the Role

As an End-to-end Integration Leader at Essity, you will be at the heart of our enterprise transformation, designing and governing high-quality integration solutions across business domains. You’ll act as the go-to expert for integration architecture, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient middleware solutions. This role is part of our Middleware Services team, supporting agile delivery and modernization initiatives across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Integration strategy & design: Recommend tailored integration approaches aligned with enterprise architecture and business needs.
• Quality assurance & governance: Ensure robust integration delivery through quality assurance practices and governance of design and build standards.
• Knowledge reuse: Promote reuse of existing integration designs across multiple business demands.
• Delivery assurance: Ensure that integration-related initiatives are completed on time by proactively removing blockers and driving tasks to completion.
• Team enablement: Mentor developers to elevate integration maturity and technical excellence.
• Flow-oriented collaboration: Facilitate ways of working using Kanban boards and pull-based task models.
• Stakeholder engagement: Act as a single point of contact for integration and backlog topics, collaborating with Solution Architects, Functional Leads, and Business Analysts.
• Innovation leadership: Support enterprise-wide modernization through proof-of-concepts, demos, and exposure to emerging technologies.

Who You Are

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in middleware development or integration architecture, ideally within manufacturing or enterprise IT environments.
• Expertise in SAP CPI is a must, with knowledge of SAP PIPO, MFT JSCAPE, Figaf, and APIs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to coach teams and drive a strategic delivery culture.
• Fluent in English (written and oral).
