As an IT Network Architect (m/f/d), you create the digital connections that link our world with space. At one of our locations in Usingen near Frankfurt, Munich, or Hamburg , you will plan and implement cutting‑edge networks that maintain the perfect balance between stability and innovation. With your keen sense for technology, security, and scalability, you will lay the foundation for the next era of our global communications infrastructure.

Your tasks

• Design, architecture, and implementation of modern network architectures for LAN, WAN, and cloud environments
• Further development of our IP network infrastructure with a focus on performance, security, and high availability
• Selection, integration, and evaluation of new network components and technologies
• Development of architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for network operations
• Technical management of network projects in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Analysis and optimization of existing network structures, as well as troubleshooting of complex issues
• Support in security, compliance, and audit topics within the network environment
• Documentation of network topologies, concepts, and changes

Your profile

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, telecommunications, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in designing and operating complex network infrastructures
• In‑depth knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, SR‑MPLS, and Spine‑Leaf architectures
• Experience with Next‑Generation Firewalls, load balancing, SD‑WAN, and network security
• Expertise in automation and infrastructure management (e.g., Ansible, Pathfinder)
• Analytical thinking, strategic foresight, and a structured work approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner
• Required language skills: German – C1, English – C1
