Our Europen Headquarter in Gersthofen is looking for a IT Network Engineer (m/f/d) .

What your job includes

• Drive evaluation, procurement, and deployment of standard IT Infrastructure solutions
• Develop, design, and implement European-wide standard LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN, and Carrier Management solutions
• Implement and maintain network hardware/devices and connectivity solutions
• Provide 2nd-line technical support for all European and global sites as needed
• Operate and optimize communications networks; monitor capacity, functionality, and provide availability statistics
• Manage Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Availability, and Patch Management
• Create and maintain technical plans, inventory, and documentation
• Manage firewalls and ensure network security, collaborating with a Global IT Security Team
• Set and maintain technical standards for network hardware and software
• Engage with global experts and support European entities in the Service & Support portfolio

What we expect from you

• Knowledge of Cisco and/or Fortinet networks, covering VPN, Wired/Wireless, Fiber/DSL connectivity.
• Experience supporting IT in medium to large scale production environments
• Several years of technical IT Infrastructure experience preferred
• Must hold or actively pursue CCNA, Fortinet NSE 3, or equivalent certification
• Solution-oriented team player with strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree, IT apprenticeship, or equivalent
• Fluent in English and German (verbal/written)
