IT Network Security Engineer

Position: IT Security Engineers – Cisco / Palo Alto

Experience: 3 – 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration in challenging IT security projects and in the support of security relevant customer environments.
• Keeping up with the latest technology trends and contributing to the development of solution concepts.
• Assessment of threat situations as well as analysis and optimization of existing environments.
• Consulting, building, deploying and managing SD-WAN, CASB, firewalls, web & email security, load balancers, remote access solutions, IAM, endpoint security and other security and network technologies.
• Configure and provision service requests, minimize network and security incidents through the use of controls and countermeasures.

Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in IT security, networking, heterogeneous IT infrastructures and operating systems, and web technologies.
• Expertise and ideally certification from the following vendors: Cisco, Cisco Firepower, F5 Networks, Check Point, Palo Alto, Microsoft, Gemalto/Tales.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, as well as an interest in being part of an international team.
• Interest in continuous education and learning.
• Fluent German as well as very good English skills.
