IT Operations Manager (m/f/d) Presales & Project Support

Your mission

• Responsibility for the implementation of IT services to ensure the continuous availability of the IT infrastructure
• Development and maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Monitoring and analysis of IT services to identify opportunities for improvement
• Proactive coordination and escalation of incidents (incident management) and ensuring rapid issue resolution
• Close collaboration with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth IT operations
• Implementation and monitoring of IT security policies and processes in accordance with applicable standards (ISO 27001 and C5T2 preferred)

Additional area of responsibility: Pre-Sales & Project Support

• Support for the sales team during proposal processes related to hosting and infrastructure
• Technical consulting for the design of tailored customer solutions
• Creation and maintenance of sales-supporting documentation and presentations for hosting and IT services
• Contribution to the calculation of technical services and operating costs (e.g., cloud services, infrastructure, support levels)
• Close coordination with product management and sales to further develop market-oriented IT service offerings
• Documentation and support during the handover of new customer projects to the operations team, including technical guidance in early implementation phases

Your profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Experience with common ticketing and monitoring tools
• Strong hands‑on mentality
• Excellent analytical skills and a solution‑oriented approach to work
• Outstanding communication skills and assertiveness
• Team player with high commitment and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel
• Excellent German skills, both written and spoken (minimum level C2)
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken (minimum level B2)
