Your Responsibilities as IT Procurement Manager (m/f/d)
In this role, you will further develop and expand our IT procurement function. Our procurement activities focus primarily on service providers. To ensure we are operational worldwide during project rollouts, for example, we collaborate with various partners. Your additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and partners, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration, and renegotiating contracts
- Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their technical and commercial capabilities
- Conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts
- Monitoring supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery time, and cost
- Purchasing licenses in various countries
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Evaluating offers and selecting the best options, taking into account technical requirements and budget specifications
What Makes You a Great IT Procurement Manager (m/f/d)
- Completed degree in Business Administration or completed commercial vocational training
- Proven professional experience in technical procurement, ideally within the IT industry
- Experience in master data management, logistics & warehouse management, as well as with ERP systems (e.g., Exact Online)
- Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating prices with suppliers and partners in both German and English
- Solid knowledge of contract management and understanding of legal aspects in procurement
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical requirements
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
