We are on track to implement a global SAP S/4HANA system and are actively driving the development of AI and analytics solutions. As a Senior Solution Engineer (m/f/d) for Source-To-Pay you will play a key role in automating procurement processes and designing new AI-supported workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designing and managing the implementation of global solutions within internal IT&D with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA materials management and purchasing ARIBA supplier invoice management and payment processes
• Evaluating and applying SaaS products, machine learning and artificial intelligence for the digitalization of procurement processes
• Advising global process owners and maintaining relationships with external partners
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through the further development and implementation of Covestro's C3 values

Your profile

• University degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field (focus on supply chain management, procurement or data analysis is an advantage)
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Understanding of artificial intelligence and cloud computing as well as experience with analysis tools or platforms
• Proven knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, preferably in procurement or materials management, demonstrated by several years of professional experience
• Very good and proven project management skills including AGILE methodology
• Very good written and spoken English
