IT Specialist – Document Management System (m/f/d) – 6711

The position includes consulting and implementation of IT solutions in the area of Document Management Systems (DMS), the digitalization of processes, project planning and coordination as well as the training and support of users. A particular focus is on the technical implementation and optimization of existing working methods through the use of modern technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in order to automate and improve processes.

The objective of the position is to increase the efficiency and quality of the document and process management systems as well as the ERP system and to support the developed solutions in operations and within the team.

Main responsibilities

• Document management system and workflow engine
• Supporting the various specialist departments in the digitalization and optimization of business processes
• Specification and development of the corresponding workflows in the system
• Document management system, ERP system, Microsoft SQL
• User support (1st/2nd level support)
• User administration
• Administration of the systems
• Troubleshooting and elimination of malfunctions in operation
• Monitoring of system operation and intervention in the event of malfunctions
• Analysis of malfunctions and elimination of the cause
• Maintenance and monitoring
• Creation of documentation and training material
• Conducting user training

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science (IT management, business informatics) or business administration
• Expertise in setting up and operating DMS systems, preferably Docuware
• Knowledge of database development and administration
• Knowledge of workflow creation, preferably Docuware
• High resilience
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, as well as good assessment and decision-making skills
• Systematic and result-oriented way of working
• Excellent comprehension and abstract thinking skills
• Flexibility, commitment and independent work
