Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and optimizing hardware and software assets to ensure efficient resource usage.
  • Ensuring and continuously improving the quality of IT services in the asset area.
  • Conducting regular license checks and analysing and optimizing license usage.
  • Coordinating the complete license acquisition process via our internal procurement tool.
  • Supporting business units with IT orders, reviewing and approving them within order management.
  • Documenting and constantly enhancing processes in order and asset management.
  • Representing the interests of the area in procurement and working closely with IT service owners.
  • Leading change‑management activities and ensuring transparent communication.
  • Maintaining and updating the approval matrix.
  • Actively participating in service review meetings and supporting incident‑management processes.
  • Co‑optimizing service delivery processes with service providers.
  • Monitoring service partner performance and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  • Verifying service quality and defining KPIs to measure results.
  • Creating service‑related documents such as SLAs, support documentation, and service‑request forms.
  • Maintaining and updating service documentation for assigned services.
  • Handling coordinating tasks in PMO, planning project steps using a WBS.
  • Applying project‑management methods.

Qualifications

  • Completed training as a clerk in IT system management, office management, or a Fachinformatiker, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent German and good English skills (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge in IT infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure service management (ITIL certification, best practices).
  • High degree of service orientation, independence, and willingness to perform.
