The Thuringian State Lottery is run in the legal form of a public-law institution with legal capacity under the auspices of the state. It is a member of the German Lotto and Totoblock. The block companies conduct games of chance in accordance with uniform conditions of participation and have joined forces to jointly determine winnings. The task of the Thuringian State Lottery is to organize, broker and conduct state-run public games of chance in the Free State of Thuringia.

IT specialist (m/f/d) application manager for lottery software

Your tasks

• Monitoring and controlling processes within the systems for which you are responsible
• Adjustment and control activities, operation of the programs via various graphical user interfaces and the command line
• Development and implementation of flow charts and logging of activities
• Operating and monitoring the system interfaces, providing and processing the necessary data
• Support with error and problem processing
• Creation of files and reports for internal and external use
• Planning and execution of software tests
• Collaboration on change projects within the software systems

Your profile

• Completed training in the IT sector with initial work experience
• Advanced knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems
• Business fluent German and very good English skills
• Ability to work carefully, responsibly and conceptually
• A high degree of customer and service orientation
• Enjoy solution-oriented work in a complex system environment
• Team orientation, good communication skills and a high level of comprehension
