IT Specialist (m/f/d) Europe

Your Tasks

• You provide regional support for the corporate IT-infrastructure in Europe
• You participate in the hybrid cloud implementation of infrastructure services
• You participate in the administration and support of servers and desktops
• You install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications
• You monitor server performance and availability as well as security issues and troubleshoot any errors that arise
• You implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical data and systems
• You set up and configure new desktop computers, laptops, and other devices in accordance with company standards and guideline
• You diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues remotely or on site
• You document and maintain the inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
• You escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT departments or external providers
• You consistently implement IT security policies and procedures

Your Profile

• You have a degree or vocational qualification in a field related to computer science
• You enjoy working in a modern environment with innovative IT tools
• You are interested in furthering your professional development
• You have knowledge of Wintel and Linux on virtualization platforms as well as server applications such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft AD, and Microsoft 365
• You have strong social and communication skills
• You are fluent in spoken and written English; German or/and Mandarin are an advantage
• You are willing to travel throughout Europe
