IT Support Engineer – Manufacturing

We are looking for a proactive Shopfloor IT Support Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and optimize IT systems across advanced manufacturing environments. You will collaborate closely with production teams, IT stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth shop-floor operations and quick incident resolution. ✅ What You Will DoMonitor and resolve daily incidents (ideally using Remedy or similar ITSM tools)Support manufacturing users (IT & business) with functional system issuesActively contribute to team knowledge sharing and problem solvingProvide stakeholder management and prepare operational reportsCoordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve issues quicklyMaintain compliance with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem)Ensure SLA KPIs are achieved and service quality is maintainedWork in shift rotation to support 24/7 manufacturing environmentsCollaborate with SMEs and external partners for escalationsProvide progress updates to management and stakeholders 🎯 What You BringBachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fieldExperience supporting manufacturing shopfloor systemsKnowledge of IT end-devices (printers, scanners, terminals, etc.)Hands-on experience supporting MES, SAP, CAD/CAM environmentsUnderstanding of Windows Server basicsExperience in complex & high-tech production environments is an advantageFamiliarity with ServiceNow / Remedy and ITIL service processesStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsFluent German & EnglishWillingness to travel across Germany when required 🌟 Who this role suitsThis position is ideal for professionals coming from: ✔ Manufacturing IT Support ✔ Shop-Floor / Production IT ✔ MES / SAP support teams ✔ IT Service Desk with strong industrial exposure
