IT system administrator (m / f / d)

We are looking for the Service-Center-IT of the Bezirkskliniken Schwaben at the Augsburg location at the earliest possible date for an IT System Administrator (m/f/d), full-time, permanent position.

Bezirkskliniken Schwaben is a network of modern specialist hospitals at nine clinic locations in Bavarian Swabia. We are leaders in the fields of psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatics, neurology and neurosurgery and ensure competent patient care with around 2,200 treatment places and 5,000 employees. For people with severe or chronic illnesses, we offer individual help in our rehabilitation and residential and support facilities.

The IT Service Center supports the dedicated employees with a network of more than 3,500 end devices, 450 servers and around 250 applications. Together with the various professional groups, we are shaping the digitalization of medical and administrative processes.

Your Main Tasks

• As an IT employee (m/f/d) in the client/server team, you will ensure the functionality of our on-premises and SaaS/cloud servers and continuously develop our system in line with modern standards.
• You will maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, hypervisor systems in a vSphere environment, monitor system events and log performance data with PRTG.
• You will act as an expert (m/f/d) in second‑level support for our IT service desk and provide active support in solving problems on site or remotely as part of the "Admin of the Day".
• Analytical and goal‑oriented, you narrow down faults and misconfigurations and also dare to think outside the "technical box".
• You actively shape the digital transformation at Bezirkskliniken Schwaben.

Your Profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration or IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d)
• Sound experience in the area of Microsoft Windows servers, AD and vSphere required
• Experience with Exchange, endpoint management systems, MS 365, Teams, SharePoint, PRTG, Imprivata and email security desirable
• Your strengths include precise communication, a logical and structured way of thinking, creativity and a strong desire to get to the bottom of technical processes / ITIL v3 / v4 personal certificate is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German (C‑level) and solid knowledge of English
• Class B driving licence required
