Your Job:

• Ensuring the efficient and stable 24x7 operation of our DMZ (on‑call duty) and critical security services in the network environment (including Remote Access VPN)
• Detection and elimination of service limitations and incidents (e.g. bandwidths, number of ports, KPIs)
• Definition and implementation of firewall rules together with the responsible application operators
• Development and implementation of security policies and zoning concepts
• Evaluation, introduction and operation of new technologies as well as standardization and automation of recurring processes

Your qualification:

• Successfully completed university degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of network and firewall operation
• In-depth knowledge of network techniques (routing, switching, security, VPN, NAT)
• Practical experience with network technologies from different manufacturers and security solutions
• Sound knowledge in the field of network analysis and troubleshooting (baselining, monitoring, protocol analysis) as well as knowledge in the area of Network Security (Microsegmentation, NG Firewall, IPS, Zero Trust)
• Sound programming skills (DevNet, Python, Ansible, Terraform) and sound cloud skills (AWS, Azure)
• Ideally certifications (CCNA, CCDA Security, TISP)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Team orientation and independent way of working
• Communication and conflict skills as well as flexibility
