Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer System Integration specialist to join our dynamic team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, combining Java development skills with DevOps practices and system integration expertise. Develop and maintain Java-based applications and servicesAssist in implementing DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and applicationsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving code qualityHelp maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelinesAssist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development and production environmentsLearn and apply best practices in software development, DevOps, and system integrationContribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldStrong foundation in Java programming and object-oriented design principlesBasic understanding of DevOps practices and toolsFamiliarity with version control systems, preferably GitKnowledge of CI/CD concepts and toolsBasic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift)Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as DockerBasic scripting skills in languages like Yaml or BashExperience in test-driven development Experience in the financial sector would be considered a plus Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
