• Workload: 5 days/week
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 14 Months

Project Focus

Java development for SAP for Me
Development and optimization of backend components
Focus on data persistence, system connectivity, and data exchange protocols (OData)
Enhancing tools for efficiency, reliability, and observability
Participation in on-call duties as Developer on Duty according to schedule
Implementation of integration design patterns, especially in microservices or event-driven architectures
Building and optimizing large-scale, high-performance web applications

Technical Profile

• Java (11+) – extensive experience in developing productive applications
• Strong knowledge of reactive and asynchronous programming
• Experience with Vert.x or similar frameworks (e.g., Akka)
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and integration designs
• Experience with SAP BTP, OData, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker
• Monitoring & observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana
• Helm chart authoring and confident use of JUnit 5
• DevOps mindset with hands-on infrastructure knowledge
• Experience with SAP HANA DB
• Knowledge of SAP Kyma
• Experience with Node.js
