What tasks can you expect to perform at our company

• Design and implementation of complex applications in an agile development environment with a focus on Java backend development (currently Java 17 migration to Java 25 planned)
• You will work with Java frameworks such as Quarkus and JEE (Wildfly)
• Collaborating on the design of software architecture to find optimal technical solutions such as microservices and web services with REST
• Using CI / CD pipelines with build systems such as Jenkins and Gitlab
• You will work with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes in the field of containerization
• Software quality assurance through automated testing and code reviews
• Design and implementation of Junit and component tests in collaboration with QA colleagues
• Providing 2nd / 3rd level support
• Insight into banking processes (experience is not a prerequisite)

What do we expect from you

• Successfully completed IT training ideally a degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Project experience in Java and / or JavaScript / Typescript
• Experience in microservice architecture and test-driven development
• Experience with SQL databases and how they work (PostGreSQL MySQL etc.)
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience in projects with complex database structures
• Project experience / team player / willingness to learn
• Communication in German (min. B2 level) and English
