WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Technical responsibility for complex partial / complete systems
Definition of installation spaces and interfaces as well as carrying out installation space analyses
Creation and management of weight and energy balances
Creation of concepts and feasibility studies at sub / overall system level as well as specifications and ICDs at sub / overall system level
Development and visualization of concepts in CAD
Creation of parts lists and structures
Creation of a DMU (digital mock-up)
Design of components for the rapid realization of demonstrators
Development of quantity structures, management plans and schedules
Coordination and management of work packages that are processed internally or externally
Cooperation / coordination with other departments (logistics, purchasing, production, etc.) and external suppliers and service providers
Carrying out reviews (internal / external)

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Successfully completed university studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
Several years of professional experience in the desired field
Military background is an advantage
Very good knowledge of CAD design with Siemens NX
Good knowledge of DOORS, PLM and MS Office
Industry knowledge from the defense industry or automotive is an advantage
Very good written and spoken English skills
High degree of flexibility and stress resistance
Willingness to travel occasionally
