We’re working with a rapidly scaling Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform in Germany, focused on decarbonising real estate and commercial assets through innovative micro-grid and distributed energy solutions. Backed by experienced investors, the platform delivers turnkey systems integrating solar PV, storage, heat pumps, CHP, EV charging, and AI-driven energy management.

We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Accountant (m/f/d) to join us full-time. In this role, you will play a key part in accounts receivable and approval workflows, working closely with the Senior Accountant and CFO to continuously enhance financial processes and business practices across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as cost centre accounting
Reconciling general ledger accounts and outstanding balances
Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements
Reviewing and processing employee expense claims
Monitoring and maintaining open itemsPreparing ongoing financial analyses and management reports
Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system (transition from Microsoft Dynamics)
Acting as the primary internal point of contact to ensure tasks are handled efficiently and on time
Contributing to the further development of reporting structures, controlling tools, and internal processes across the group

Candidate Profile

Completed vocational training as a tax clerk or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or controlling
Strong communication skills in both German and English
Previous experience with ERP systems and/or DATEV is a plus
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
Familiarity with German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS is advantageous
A structured, reliable working style and a strong team-oriented mindset
