Why This Role Is Right for You As a Junior Backend Developer, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Köln, Eschborn, München and Berlin. Together, we work on design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services. As a Junior Backend Developer, you will work closely with senior developers to build and maintain backend components, improve performance and reliability, and contribute to modern, cloud-native application development. About Your Future Role In this position, you will: Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and PythonDesign and manage relational databases, primarily using PostgreSQLBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and support microservices-based architecturesParticipate in Scrum meetings, code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing Write unit and integration tests to ensure high software qualityAssist in deploying and monitoring applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)Assist in debugging, performance tuning, and incident resolution What Makes You a Great Fit We’re looking for someone eager to make a difference.
