Junior Credit Analyst

Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Credit Analyst – German speaking – to join iwoca Deutschland . Our credit team is expanding and we are seeking experienced analysts to assess customers quickly, fairly and accurately. iwoca empowers small businesses across Europe with fast, flexible funding and is now expanding into SME insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit applications using a blend of data sources and our technology platform to make fast, fair and accurate decisions.
• Work autonomously in decision‑making, expanding your scope as you build knowledge of our systems.
• Support other analysts on larger, more complex decisions—an integral part of our workflow.
• Partner with analytics teams to optimise lending models and align your approach with data‑driven goals.

Requirements

• Strong business acumen and an understanding of risk and revenue drivers that influence creditworthiness.
• Native‑level German language skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
• Motivated, eager to improve, and adaptable to a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills—regular interaction with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with practical problem‑solving and a talent for scalable solutions.

Compensation

€41,000 – €50,000 per year.
