Junior Data Protection Consultant (m/f/d) – 2B Advice

As a Junior Data Protection Consultant (m/f/d), you will start at 2B Advice directly in GDPR, compliance, and AI regulatory projects and work with real clients from the very beginning.

Direct entry into data protection and digital law.

You will start right away on exciting projects related to GDPR, digital rights, compliance, AI regulation, and information security. From day one, you will work with real clients and build up in-depth expertise in modern data protection.

Learning in a multidisciplinary team.

You will work closely with lawyers, IT specialists, and experienced consultants. In doing so, you will learn how to structure complex issues, manage projects, and advise clients competently—with a clear perspective on your own client responsibility.

Working with Ailance™ & AI.

At the same time, you will use our data protection and compliance platform Ailance™ (RoPA & AI Governance) and contribute to the further development of modern, AI-supported data protection and compliance processes. This allows you to combine consulting practice with innovative technology.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Data Protection Consultant

As a Junior Data Protection Consultant, you will support our clients in all matters relating to GDPR, digital rights, compliance, AI regulation, and information security. From the outset, you will work closely with lawyers, IT specialists, and consultants and will be gradually introduced to independently managing client accounts. At the same time, you will use our data protection and compliance platform Ailance™ (RoPA & AI Governance) and contribute to the further development of modern, AI-supported data protection and compliance processes.

• Advising clients on data protection, digital law, compliance, AI regulation, and information security.
• Reviewing and commenting on data processing agreements (DPA).
• Assessing data protection incidents and advising on reporting data breaches to authorities.
• Creating and maintaining data protection guidelines, process descriptions, privacy statements, TOMs, and other compliance documents.
• Assisting in setting up and developing data protection and compliance organizations for our customers.
• Conducting data protection audits remotely and on site (across Europe or worldwide).

Data protection impact assessments

• Data protection impact assessments (DPIA).
• Fundamental rights impact assessments (FRIA) for AI projects.

Platform development contribution

You will gradually take on your own mandates—starting with smaller clients and progressing to more complex, long-term client relationships.

• Use of the RoPA and AI Governance modules.
• Identifying use cases for automation.
• Providing practical data for further development.
• Testing new features and providing feedback to the product and AI team.

What you bring to the role of Junior Data Protection Consultant

You don't have to be a senior expert yet—what's more important is that you have a professional interest, analytical thinking, and a desire to take on responsibility.

• A completed degree (e.g., law, business law, business administration, computer science) or initial practical experience in the field of data protection/compliance.
• Interest in GDPR, digital law, compliance, AI regulation, and information security.
• Basic technical understanding and enthusiasm for digital tools, automation, and AI.
• Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of structuring complex issues.
• Organizational skills and initial experience in project or process management.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, as well as the ability to work in a team.
• Proactive, meticulous approach to work and willingness to take on responsibility.
• Enjoy learning from a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, IT specialists, and experienced consultants.
