(Junior) Developer (f/d/m) for SAP Integrated Business Planning - Response and Supply

We are looking for a motivated (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) who wants to develop Supply Chain planning applications. SAP’s Response and Supply Solution is used by many global organizations to plan the Supply Chain and to optimize demand fulfillment. We are working with cloud technologies like AMDP, CDS models as well as ABAP. Our team is responsible to design and implement the end-user facing planning and analysis components of the Response and Supply solution. We are leveraging AI capabilities to increase developer efficiency.

You will be part of a development scrum team and will be contributing to the discovery, design, implementation, testing, maintenance and eventually the overall success of this strategic topic.

You will collaborate closely with other scrum teams and the IBP product management in different locations e.g. Walldorf, Budapest, Montreal, Pittsburg and Palo Alto. As we are a customer-driven organization, you will help shaping the product with internal and external stakeholders.

• Good to excellent bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following or related areas: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology
• 2-5 years of working experience in software development
• High interest in solving supply chain challenges and motivation to become a Supply Chain Planning expert
• Ideally first programming skills in:
  • ABAP and ABAP OO
  • ABAP Managed Database Procedure (AMDP)
  • SQL
• Problem-solving attitude
• Strong team player and communication skills
• Fluent in English. German language skills are a bonus

With the development of SAP Integrated Business Planning, our organization has developed a super successful cloud application. We are a frontrunner in many areas also in the cloud e.g. using HANA Elasticity Scale Out Nodes, built-in Machine Learning using our own trained ABAP GenAI models etc. Supply Chain is an important key pillar and hence was recently added as cornerstone of SAP´s strategy.
