Junior Developer Footwear & Accessories (f/m/d)

Overview

We’re looking for a highly driven and passionate individual to join our Product Development team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Design and Merchandising teams to bring designs to life — from initial concepts to prototypes — in collaboration with our factories. You’ll support and track the critical path and development timeline, working alongside our Product Development Lead to ensure every step of the journey runs smoothly. This includes participating in design meetings, proto and sample reviews, as well as factory visits. You'll be part of an excellence-driven team, connect with international colleagues, and have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas to help shape Aeyde’s next phase of growth.

What you will do:

• Support and work alongside our Product Development Lead for footwear and accessories.
• Help to keep the timeline of the critical path in close cooperation with the merchandising team.
• Translate design ideas into tech packs and update them throughout the development stages.
• Liaise with the suppliers to get the prototypes ready and ensure that all product is ready according to the critical path.
• Work closely with all teams to communicate any updates / delays / changes on the development process that impact the critical path / timeline.
• Ensure the timeline and the quality are met according to company expectations.
• Work with our PLM system (Backbone).
• Liaising with Italian suppliers and Head Office team.

What you will bring:

• 2+ years experience in product development or product management.
• Knowledge of the development process of any of the following categories (Footwear, Accessories or even Apparel).
• Interest for developing luxury products.
• You have good organization skills and excellent communication skills.
• You are a multitasker and are able to adapt quickly.
• You are able to work independently with various stakeholders in the process.
• You are very hands-on and start-up driven.
• You come with a lot of drive and motivation to learn.
• Able to work from Berlin HQ and frequent travel to suppliers in Italy.
• Italian speaker.
