Junior Developer Teamsport Footwear

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product development process, from initial design through confirmation, ensuring technical feasibility and performance
• Act as the key technical partner to Design and Product Line Management, translating creative concepts into innovative, manufacturable solutions
• Mentor and guide the Development team, fostering knowledge‑sharing and professional growth
• Drive material and construction innovation, working closely with suppliers to improve performance and sustainability
• Evaluate prototypes and approve Red Tag samples, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and cost targets
• Translate athlete and performance feedback into actionable improvements across the development cycle
• Lead collaboration with cross‑functional partners, including Sourcing, Sustainability, and Testing, to deliver against key milestones
• Assess supplier capabilities and lead onboarding for performance‑driven projects and innovations

Qualifications

• University degree in Footwear Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in end‑to‑end footwear product development
• Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• In‑depth material knowledge and passion for innovation
• Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication, intercultural competence, and strategic mindset
• Team‑oriented, resilient, and confident under pressure
• Experience with sustainability, innovation, and IP processes is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English; German and/or Mandarin is a plus
• Will travel internationally (approx. 20 %)
