Your mission with us

For our new venture within the FUTRUE Group, we are immediately seeking a (Junior) Engineer – BCI Chip Design & Connectivity (m/f/d) to develop the leading generation of brain–computer interfaces with us by 2030, redefining the boundaries of medicine.

Your tasks

You will work with us to develop a central component of our brain–computer interface – the implantable chip.

Design, in collaboration with your team, an implantable chip for real‑time, high‑channel‑count neural signal processing within a strict power and thermal budget.
Support the development of a hermetic encapsulation for our chip, ensuring its safety for long‑term implantation in the brain.
Identify suitable high‑bandwidth wireless interfaces for low‑latency data transmission between the implant and the patient's digital ecosystem.

Requirements

You are passionate about shaping the next major innovation in the health‑tech sector in an environment with fast decision‑making processes.
You have initial experience in areas such as semiconductor technology, low‑power chip design, neural data processing, or implant encapsulation.
You have recently completed your degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Neuroscience, or a comparable field, with excellent results.
You have a strong drive, the ability to quickly grasp new subject areas, and can communicate complex matters concisely; ideally demonstrated through internships, social engagement, or similar activities.
You are business‑fluent in English or German (min. C1).
