Junior Insurance Specialist Germany

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing demand analysis to adapt and optimize insurance coverage and negotiate terms and conditions with insurance providers to secure the best coverage and rates.
• Provide expert advice on insurance‑related clauses, assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
• Assist internally with the application process and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Handle insurance claims from initial reporting to final settlement, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, analyze and interpret insurance policies to ensure they meet company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to insurance, keep abreast of changes in insurance laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk management strategies, controlling and managing potential risks.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on insurance coverage, claims status and risk management activities to senior management.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law or a related field.
• Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of insurance policies, regulations and procedures in Europe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in English (at least C1); Mandarin is a plus.
