(Junior) Motion Designer 2D

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Join our Creative Team at Trade Republic – made up of graphic designers, art directors, motion designers, video editors working closely with the wider marketing team on all brand and marketing touchpoints.

We are looking to expand our team with a design-driven Motion Designer with a strong focus on 2D animation and VFX who has a strong awareness of current creative and social media trends. As a Motion Designer, you’ll create visually compelling 2D animations and post-production driven content that combines video, VFX, typography, and sound into engaging narratives. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating high-quality 2D motion design assets for social media, digital campaigns and other marketing touchpoints
• Editing and enhancing video content, including compositing, tracking, rotoscoping, chroma keying and color grading
• Ensuring our visual identity is consistently applied across all assets and platforms
• Evolving and improving our 2D motion and post-production workflows
• Collaborating closely with designers, art directors and marketers to deliver on‑brief creative solutions
• Staying up to date with current design, motion and social media trends

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Min. 2 years experience as a Motion Designer
• Strong expertise in 2D motion design and post-production workflows
• Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects (Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop and Figma)
• A strong design sensibility, attention to detail and high visual standards
• Experience creating content for social media platforms (paid and organic)
• Openness to feedback and the ability to iterate based on stakeholder input and performance insights
• A proactive mindset, curiosity for new tools and techniques, and motivation to continuously develop your skills
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude
• Proficient in English
