Junior Network Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in rack and stack activities and CCNA-level networking knowledge. This role focuses on data center hardware deployment, cabling, and basic network support, working across locations in Marburg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, routers, and related hardware
• Handle structured cabling (Ethernet/Fiber), including patching, labeling, and cable management
• Assist with device installation, provisioning, and basic configuration (CCNA level)
• Perform basic troubleshooting (IP connectivity, VLANs, port issues)
• Maintain rack elevation diagrams and documentation
• Support Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACD) in data center environments
• Ensure adherence to data center safety and operational standards

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in rack & stack and physical network deployment
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, TCP/IP)
• Basic knowledge of switching, VLANs, and routing concepts (CCNA level)
• Experience with cable management and labeling standards
• Familiarity with data center environments and tools
