Junior Product Manager (m/w/d) Marketing Core Technology - Onsite in Hamburg

Our marketing steering is one of the most sophisticated in eCommerce global, consisting of inhouse marketing attribution models, marketing mix models, margin and new customer steering models all related to our own core infrastructure. Based on the correlations between marketing activities and revenue results, the team provides recommendations for other marketing teams in order to optimize campaigns and channels.

What you will do

• Deeply understand your stakeholders' needs (primarily from Marketing Data Analytics and Data Science, Performance Marketing, CRM, Content and Media)
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to create smart solutions that take the business value into account
• Take ownership of the success and quality of your products (mainly data products that support decision making or targeting for your stakeholders)
• Simplify processes to enable others to work more efficiently (e.g., improving the sprint process and proposing new and interesting methodologies within the team)
• Continuously improve the teams and the product by understanding stakeholder needs and proactively supporting with planning the product roadmap
• Embrace accountability for the products you develop and understand their impact through stakeholder feedback and own analyses
• Be ready to "dig deep" if required to solve the challenging aspects of your projects

Who you are

• University degree in a quantitative or tech-related field
• 1-2 years of professional experience in a project or product management function, ideally in a top‑tier consulting firm or a fast‑growing startup
• Experience in product management: from developing a product roadmap based on overarching goals to defining and prioritising concrete features for the upcoming sprints in Jira
• Experience in leading complex cross‑functional projects (ideally involving both tech and business stakeholders)
• Ideally, a good working knowledge of SQL and BigQuery, otherwise the willingness to learn to conduct own analyses using SQL on the data warehouse (Google BigQuery)
• A good working knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, software development languages and tooling (specifically PHP and GCP)
• Well organised with good prioritisation skills and a solution‑oriented mindset
