Responsibilities

• Support Senior Sales Managers in global customer care and expanding customer relationships.
• Support multinational growth customers and advise them along the entire value chain, using the GTS product range.
• Be responsible for successful acquisition of new customers, sustainable maintenance, and systematic expansion of existing customer relationships, positioning HSBC as a strategic partner.
• Prepare for client meetings through presentations, financial analyses, and client ecosystem analyses.
• Collaborate closely with the bank’s client service teams and participate in internal and external customer meetings.
• Generate new business ideas with internal stakeholders to create customer‑oriented solutions and presentations.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in economics or completed banking training or similar professional training with comparable further qualification.
• Experience in solutions structuring in trade finance and deep GTS product understanding: supply chain, receivables finance, traditional trade (letters of credit, import/export finance) and guarantees.
• Sound knowledge of international commercial business including letters of credit, guarantees, medium/long‑term export financing, receivables finance, supply chain finance and working capital management.
• Ability to work collaboratively while achieving progress with clients and stakeholders across the global HSBC network.
• Enjoying development and exploration of new topics in trade finance.
• Strong customer and service orientation and confident demeanor in front of customers and management.
• Independent, precise and structured way of working with high social and teamwork competence.
• Very good English and German language skills as well as excellent communication skills.
