Responsibilities

  • Build and Lead a High‑Performing FOH Team: Recruit, onboard, and support FOH staff to uphold BEAT81’s exceptional hospitality standards, ensuring they feel valued, integrated, and clear on tasks and expectations.
  • Lead by Example: Maintain a strong, visible presence alongside FOH staff, remaining approachable and supportive to cultivate a thriving team culture (75% of the job is based in our studios; this is not an office job!).
  • Foster a Welcoming Customer Experience: Empower FOH staff to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere by offering personalized engagement, anticipating customer needs, and prioritizing customer satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Ensure a Positive Studio Environment: Maintain an inviting and energizing atmosphere, attending to details like cleanliness for an outstanding studio experience.
  • Uphold BEAT81 Standards: Consistently implement established company standards (e.g., equipment upkeep, inventory or orders), ensuring a seamless, safe, and hygienic studio environment.
  • Manage FOH Scheduling Effectively: Oversee FOH scheduling, ensuring efficient use of FOH hours and flexibility to meet demand while providing stability for the FOH team.

Qualifications

  • 3‑5 years of customer service experience, ideally in a leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while delivering exceptional service.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks on the go.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, from customer interactions to studio standards.
  • Effective communication skills with a diverse range of personalities, fostering a positive atmosphere for both team, coaches, and customers.
  • Fluent in English and ideally at least B2‑level proficiency in German to connect with a broader customer base.
  • Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to jump into hands‑on tasks as needed, from supporting the FOH team to engaging in daily studio operations.
  • Comfortable working a non‑traditional schedule, including weekends, early mornings, middays, and late evenings to meet the needs of a busy, 7‑days‑a‑week, year‑round operation.
