Job objectives/ Key Accountabilities

• You learn to monitor and control the safe and cost-efficient technical operation of all assigned vessels using the available resources, within the defined parameters of cost, commercial viability and operational excellence in line with Owners expectations.


• You help to ensure the effective maintenance of the assigned vessels.


• You stay in close contact with clients and maintain good working relationships with client representatives.


• You will be trained in preparing and executing Drydock activities.


• You perform vessel visits, audits and inspections.


• You overview and authorize necessary expenditures.


• You ensure compliance with environmental compliance policies.

Requirements

The role is open for junior candidates who aim to develop into a Technical Superintendent position.

Education & Work Experience

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent or Chief Engineer’s qualification
