Key Account Executive (mwd)

Main tasks

  • Actively prospect a portfolio of key account prospects (Tiers 1) to increase the customer base.
  • Follow up and develop a portfolio of key accounts (Tiers 1) and deploy new innovations to existing customers.
  • Organize tender responses and write commercial proposals in close collaboration with internal departments (product managers, after‑sales services, installations, deployment, etc.) and, when necessary, with the Global Account Manager in charge of the account worldwide.
  • Develop the turnover within the commercial scope and achieve the set objectives.

Secondary tasks

  • Develop good relationships with decision makers at the highest level.
  • Participate in client events or trade shows.
  • Assist marketing in the development of business cases or communications/customer stories.
  • Update regularly the CRM tools with opportunities and manage the customer and prospect base.
  • Feed back information about competitors to the manager and the marketing department.

Qualifications

Professional Experiences

  • Minimum 4–5 years of successful experience in a similar position and a strong performance orientation.
  • Sales background in selling technical, complex hardware and software solutions with services in B2B environments that have long sales cycles.

Languages

  • Fluent written and spoken English and German.
  • Additional language(s) is a plus.

Required qualifications

  • Excellent relational skills from store level to C‑level.
  • Ability to identify solution value for individual customers and translate this into additional sales.
  • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods.
  • Ability to prioritize strategic tasks from both customer and SES perspectives.
