Key Account Manager DACH + Denmark (Temp 6 months)

The North Face is looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to join our Sales team in Germany on a temporary 6‑month contract. The North Face is the premier exploration company in the world, sparking curiosity, daring to disrupt, creating communities, and leading with integrity.

The role focuses on developing and growing defined key accounts and building sustainable, profitable market share. You will be the main contact for multiple departments at the account, support internal stakeholders across functions, and drive the brand’s strategy and positioning at the respective accounts.

Responsibilities will include annual senior top‑2 meetings, quarterly review meetings, product planning, line presentations, in‑season management, and more.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Lead, own and expand our market share through key accounts with sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Create account plans and execute them to grow the business sustainably.
  • Plan seasonal and annual sales budgets and maintain them in line with agreed targets, focusing on Gross‑to‑Net management.
  • Create, present, and place account‑specific assortment plans on a seasonal basis.
  • Analyze sales performance by product and category to maximize opportunities.
  • Understand consumers to target through different channels, collections and assortments.
  • Drive in‑season management to maximize sales with the account.
  • Manage weekly order books and collaborate with customer service.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships.

Skills For Success

  • Key account management or similar experience in FMCG or major lifestyle/sports/outdoor brand, ideally with a strong background in department store environments.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the European lifestyle and/or outdoor/sports industry and its values.
  • Experience with lifestyle and/or outdoor consumers.
  • Skill in crafting and maintaining strategic plans and measuring execution while building exceptional customer relationships.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, using facts for decisions.
  • High energy, goal‑oriented, driven individual who is great at getting things done.
  • Strong skills in analysis, time management, communication, problem solving and innovative thinking.
  • Exceptional team player.
